HOW THE DESIGN PROCESS WORKS

01
Questionnaire

No doubt you’ve already got a Pinterest-inspired idea of what your wedding or event will be like, from colour palettes and flowers to stationery and cake decor. At this stage of the process it’s great if you can tell me as many details as possible that you’ve already planned for the big day. Once your initial 50% deposit has been paid it’s time to really get to know you and your wedding style. I’ll send through a digital questionnaire for you to fill out which will help me get a good understanding of how to make your design unique to you.

02
Initial Designs

After receiving your answers, I’ll create two different designs for you to choose from. During this stage we’ll explore a variety of paper types and print finishes best suited to your wedding style.

Please note: At this stage you will be selecting your preferred design style. Any additional items for a full stationery suite, such as RSVPs, additional inserts and extras, will be created during the design development stage.

03
Development

At this stage your preferred design will be finessed, developed and checked, with any changes made as necessary. The design style will then be used to create matching items for your full stationery suite should you require these.

Each time the design is revised I will send you a digital PDF proof. You’re allocated three* rounds of changes based on your feedback, until we have a final, polished, perfect design that you’re happy with.

*Please note: any additional amends after this will be charged at £40 per round.

04
Sign Off + Print

A final proof will be sent to you for sign-off. At this stage you should check all details carefully, including names, dates, spelling and grammar. Only minor text amends should be made here if absolutely necessary.

Once you’ve signed off the design, you’ll need to pay your remaining balance so print production can begin. You can expect your stationery to be delivered to you approximately 12-14 working days* after your invoice has been paid.

*Please note: delivery is subject to change if there are special print finishes and additional items involved in assembly of your stationery, including envelope liners, wax seals and hand-addressed envelopes.
